I have long believed that golf is an honorable game, played by honorable people.
In addition, deep inside each of our souls, we love to build relationships with our fellow members AND we want to compete in a worthy competition.
The Cactus Cup, AKA “the Smashie” gives us the rare opportunity to do both.
We hope with Silverleaf Golf Course as our chosen ground, participants will bring the best of themselves and their golf games to the event. There is no doubt the Cactus Cup will build community. It will challenge each of us to play our very best.
I am confident, if we do all this, the Cactus Cup will leave each of us with a greater sense of pride and belonging to not only the course, the membership, but most importantly, the other men we choose to embark on this challenge with.
I hope you will join this great group of men for this new Tradition at Silverleaf!
